Freeze Frame for OSX

I stumbled upon this little app when I was searching for a portable version of Opera on the web. The post I stumbled upon described the app and added an interesting twist - that if you reviewed it you would get a license for it.
Well, while I have no qualms of writing a review and receive something in return - my job doesn’t really give me the time to do such a thing. Nonetheless - the description of the app was interesting enough for me to go try it. The experience was useful enough for me to write this up.
Freeze frame basically freezes applications that you select (via it’s icon in the menubar). You can freeze all apps other than the one you are using. While it isn’t elegant (the spinning ball and all that jazz turn up - almost as if the app truly froze), it certainly works. Now, I haven’t used it long enough to know whether there might be instances where the app might not come back out of the freeze (so far it always has) but I love the possibilities afforded by this app.

Try it here.
